Greetings!

I'm an artist (sculptor, craftsperson, whatever label works for you) because I can't imagine being or doing anything else. I've sculpted, made dolls or drawn since I can remember. It's an involuntary thing...rather like breathing is involuntary! I create the things I do because I have to -- bringing a piece into being where nothing existed before is a strange and wonderful feeling; it's a kind of magic!

Whilst this all sounds rather serious, it's also important that I have fun in loosing these things on the world; however, occasionally it feels that I haven't any say in the matter -- some of them would leave marks on the inside of my head if I didn't let them out!

Here on my site, you will find treefolk and witches, merfolk and wizards...fugitives from fairy tales; figments of the imagination, Odd Fae, the slightly-off-center, the Green Man and Others; these are Autumn Things....and they have very little to do with the real world and everything to do with giggles 'n' snickers and Things that go bump in the Night.

Hopefully these whimsical Things of mine will bring a smile or a slight pause, maybe even a glance over the shoulder...Enjoy!
